La Mer Estate at golden hour from the cream stone path

The Estate

A private coastal
sanctuary.

Six acres on Antigua's southern coast. Forty-three sea-facing residences. Designed by OBMI. Crafted with calm in mind.

Our Emblem

The conch, listening.

The King Crown Conch is rare among shells. It is found only in protected waters, in small numbers, and it is prized — by the few who recognise it — for the quiet precision of its form. It does not announce itself. It is something you have to look for, and once seen, never quite forget.

We chose it because that is the kind of place we wanted to build. La Mer is not a development that calls attention to itself. It is composed, considered, almost monastic in its restraint — and entirely sure of what it is. The conch holds the sound of the sea inside it. We hope the estate holds the same quality: a place that, once you have known it, stays with you long after you have left.

Our Mission

A boutique community,
built for serenity seekers.

Led by a seasoned development team, La Mer Estate Co. Ltd. is recognised for harmonising luxury with nature. We collaborate with the architectural firm OBMI for design excellence, and with Maverick Frame Studio for the creative work that carries the brand into the world.

Built to Last

Sustainable by design.
Engineered for the climate.

Every residence is built with the Caribbean in mind. Solar energy, rainwater harvesting, and eco-conscious waste management run quietly behind the scenes. Reinforced roofing, impact-rated glazing, and deep overhangs are engineered to meet — and exceed — current hurricane code. We prioritise safety and peace of mind without compromising the minimalist design language.

I.

Solar Integration

Off-grid resilience as standard. Quiet, efficient power across the estate.

II.

Rainwater Harvesting

Cisterns and filtration designed into every unit. Caribbean-climate sound.

III.

Hurricane Resistance

Reinforced roofs, impact-rated glazing, and deep overhangs. Engineered, not retrofitted.
